Bulk Application Service

Our bulk application service provides a mechanism by which companies can manage the completion and submission of forms on behalf of their employees.

Companies wishing to use the service must nominate at least one 'lead sponsor' to act as our main point of contact. Contact details for your lead sponsor(s) should be supplied in a company-headed letter from a director - an example of the letter can be found in Annex A of the Registering as a Company Sponsor guidance document. Once approved, lead sponsors will be able to authorise any number of standard sponsors on your company’s behalf. Please note that we can only discuss an application with the applicant or a registered company sponsor.

As a company sponsor you can request blank application forms in packs of 25. Once the forms have been completed they may be submitted to us in batches of up to 50 (irrespective of when or how they were requested) along with a single payment for each batch. Section H ('Payment details') of the application forms submitted through our bulk application service should be left blank. You can submit a single application form in a batch, but if you provide a single payment for the submission of more than one licence application you will need to supply a completed bulk application cover sheet. If you don't we will reject any applications you submit in that batch.

Please note: the current version of the application form (LAF04) has been in use since February 2010. We do not accept applications made on the previous version of the form (LAF02).

We will need supporting documentation for every application form - our checklist gives details on what is required. All documentation will be returned directly to the individual applicants but please don't send anything they might need in the near future.

Company sponsors may also wish to register to use our online services. These tools can help you to manage your employee’s licence applications - for example, our batch application tracker will enable you to confirm that we have received any applications you have sent, and to track the progress of individual applications within each batch.
