Training leading to the licence-linked qualifications must be delivered over a minimum number of days. Close Protection: Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

The awarding organisations offering Close Protection qualifications have developed a guidance document to help training providers assess RPL applications; this document is endorsed by the SIA. They have also developed an RPL application form which should be used to record any evidence supporting the decision that is made. All training providers assessing RPL applications for the Close Protection licensing qualifications should use these documents.
